Urban life versus country living
A lot of people decide to move to the countryside nowadays. However, there are still many people who prefer stay in the town and say that they couldn't live anywhere else. So which place is better to live? Let's think about both of them.
Definitely there is a great difference in the lifestyle among people living in villages and cities. Neither of them is above one another, but definitely has their own advantages and disadvantages.

Life in the countryside is more peaceful and also it is slower. What is more, it is less stressful. There isn't any time pressure and the traffic conditions are better. A lot of places you may reach on foot, while in the city it takes longer to travel short distances because of traffic jams. Because of fewer vehicles in the village, people are safer and road accidents are minimised.
There is less air and water pollution, lower crime rate, and more living space available.
People in the countryside are quite different than people living in the city: they are relaxed, friendly and family-oriented. People are more close to each other. There are closer communities with fewer people. Though they are not considered to be gadget or tech savvy people.

In rural area you have more privacy and you get more relaxations of the wildlife. Also, natural resources such as rivers, hills, mountains, fields are plenty in the village.
Rural living is peaceful, quiet, inspiring and healthy and provides time for reflection and connection with nature. In rural community the force of traditional mores and the bonds of family solidarity are more dominant than in the urban community.
Though the rural lifestyle is not as advanced as what you see in the cities, the culture and attitude of people are more warm and welcoming.
However, people who stay in the countryside often have to work in the nearest cities, so it may take a lot of time to get to it.

Cities provide great facilities for education, medical treatments, job opportunities etc.
There is a big offer how to spend free time in megalopolis. There are a lot of theatres, concerts and other ways of entertainment. There is always a lot to do and to visit! There are a lot of possibilities of shopping. In various shopping centres and galleries you can buy whatever you want. If you want cheap food, there are large markets within the cities. What is more, there are a lot of working places in a city. Many big international companies have their locations in the cities, so it is much easier to find a job in a big city. Moreover, the public transport is developed quite well, so the commuting to work isn't a big problem.
Here one can easily get a chance to interact with people from all over the world. The city requires great social mobility.

By the way, many cities have urban forests and leafy suburbs, green parks.
The urban world revolves around money and human-created attractions.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages of living in a big city. People living in cities are more vulnerable to many diseases because of their sedentary lifestyle and fast food intake. Cities are very crowded. Everywhere there are crowds: on the pavements, in the buses, almost everywhere! What is more, the traffic is heavy and city's car parks are always very full. Sometimes it is very difficult to get from one place to another. It may take hours! Moreover, the other disadvantage is the lack of safety. There is a big crime rates in cities. So you have to be very careful at nights when you leave your home.

People in the city are like ants. They are always in hurry, busy and running out of time.

To sum up I would like to say that both countryside and city have their advantages and disadvantages. Both city and country may be a good place to live. However the urban influence on the rural people can be seen in matters like social organisation, family organisation, food habits, standard of living, fashion, cosmetics, religion, rituals, beliefs etc. The rural people are taking over the urban modes of life and as this has been happening, the traditional rural way of life has been withering away.
